Two Sisters Vineyards

Two Sisters Vineyards grows grapes at Niagara-on-the-Lake, in the Niagara River sub-appellation of Niagara Peninsula. It dates its founding to 2007.

Where it sits

Two Sisters Vineyards is at Niagara-on-the-Lake, and its fruit falls inside Niagara River, one of the sub-appellations nested within Niagara Peninsula. A sub-appellation is the narrower claim: a wine may carry it or the wider appellation name, and the boundaries are set in regulation rather than by the winery. The regions page covers how those lines are drawn.

What it grows

The winery works with Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Petit Verdot, Chardonnay, Riesling and Sauvignon Blanc.

Each of those has a page here on how it behaves in Ontario: the heat it needs to ripen, the Brix it reaches at harvest, and which parts of the province actually plant it.

Vineyard area: over 130 acres.
